STEP 3 - RATE AND CAR SELECTION

Select the rate type you would like to obtain a quote on. (Optional)

The system will default to "Internet Rate", this will be the best web rate currently available.

If you have a special rate programmed against your Easy ID number, then the "Negotiated Easy ID rate" button will be auto-selected and your account number will appear in the box.

If you have not entered an Easy ID number, but do have an account number in order to obtain a special rate, you can manually enter the account number.

If you have seen a special rate advertised with a rate code, you can obtain this special by selecting the "Advertised rate code" button and entering the rate code in the box provided.

If your Easy ID number has defaulted you to your special rate, but you would prefer to use the Internet rate or an advertised rate, you can override the negotiated rate by clicking the appropriate radio button.

Select the type of vehicle

The system defaults to Compacts through full size vehicles.

However, you can click on the drop down to select either a specific car type (such as a mini-van) or a different range of cars (such as all SUVs).

Now click on the "Show me cars & rates" button to obtain a rate quote.

View your car quote
	A new window will pop up with your rate quote. It is important to disable or override any anti-popup software you might have running. The system will only show cars that are currently available at your chosen location and dates. Thus if you have seen that we run a certain type of car, but it is not showing, this means that either the car has been sold out for that date, or the location no longer has any of this type of vehicle. If you have selected a specific type of vehicle (such as a full size), this system will also display the next two categories up, so you can compare the cost of upgrading.
Changing the car selection
	At the bottom of the car quote window you have the option to change your car selection and even return to the reservation without a car selection.
Understanding the car quote

If you click on "Click here for rules and details" a new window will pop up with more detail.

The fees and taxes will be broken down into each element.

The window will also list any applicable rules and exclusions for the rate chosen.

Common fees include:

A/P Fee - this is the airport fees charged by the airport authority to all visitors to their airport renting cars.

Fees/taxes charged by the state, county or city.

Stadium taxes - a fee charged by the city ion order to raise funds to build a new stadium.

Close this window to return to the car quote.

When you click "Select this car" next to the vehicle of your choice the car quote window will close automatically.
