SAN ANTONIO, Texas (October, 2004). Advantage Rent A Car is pleased to announce it now offers the highest level of connectivity for car rental bookings with all providers of the global distribution system (GDS). Travel agents will now experience seamless access to real-time fleet availability information and full pricing transparency, allowing them to quote up-to-the minute car rental prices inclusive of taxes and surcharges. GDS providers include Worldspan, Sabre, Amadeus and Galileo. Together with Advantage, they provide technology to streamline the process for travel agents to book rentals and earn commissions.
