ADVANTAGE RENT A CAR EXPANDS AND STRENGTHENS ITS LEADERSHIP TEAM

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (October 18, 2006). Advantage Rent A Car announced the appointment of three senior management additions to their leadership team.

Janice Bunch has been appointed Chief People Officer (CPO). Prior to joining Advantage, Bunch served as Vice President and CPO of Karta Technologies, Inc. where through her initiative they achieved the status of the 8th best large company to work for in San Antonio, Texas. Her professional experience includes managing human resources, administrative and business operations, culture and organization development, benefits design and administration, talent recruiting and retention and HR policy development.

Bob Dimmick joins the leadership team as Executive Vice President, Marketing with a career spanning several decades in advertising and marketing. Over 15 years were served in the car rental industry in positions ranging from Director of Advertising to Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Thrifty Car Rental and Corporate VP, Marketing at National Car Rental, Inc. Most recently Dimmick was employed as General Manager, Sales with Winnercomm Sports, Inc., the largest outside provider of television programming to the ESPN networks.

“Bob’s unique experience makes him a seasoned executive well prepared to strengthen our marketing focus as we drive brand awareness globally,” says Gremse. “His extensive background in delivering sound, strategic marketing programs makes him an ideal choice as Executive Vice President.”

Matthew Reingold rounds out the recent appointments as Vice President Revenue Management. His extensive experience extending over a wide range of service industries includes improving operational and financial performance through managing business growth and development. Reingold adds seven years of car rental experience to the management team working his way through the ranks beginning with Shift Manager to Senior Director of Operations with Alamo Rent-A-Car.

“Matthew is ideally suited to serve as VP of Revenue Management with his broad experience and capabilities needed to lead this area through its next phase of growth,” stated Gremse. “The appointments of Janice, Bob and Matthew are continuing evidence of our commitment to build a team capable of leading Advantage Rent A Car as we execute the global expansion of our world-class brand.”
