COUNCILWOMAN MEDRANO PARTICIPATES IN RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY COMMEMORATING ADVANTAGE RENT A CAR OPENING AT AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER

DALLAS, TEXAS (May 23, 2007). Councilwoman Pauline Medrano participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony held on May 4, 2007 to commemorate the opening of Advantage Rent A Car’s state-of-the-art facility at the American Airlines Center.

Joining Councilwoman Medrano at the event were Advantage Rent A Car C.E.O. Bill Plamondon, Dallas General Manager Mike Tulburt, American Airlines Center General Manager Dave Brown, and Greater Dallas Chamber Ambassador Jon Gilloon along with representatives from the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. The celebration included an appearance from the IceGirls, ESPN radio remote broadcaster Ed Petty hosting the popular ‘Free Ticket Friday’ promotion along with hundreds of others on hand as Advantage also recognized the excellent seasons of the Mavericks, Stars and Desperados.

Advantage will service the community surrounding Victory Plaza with a full line of new domestic and foreign vehicles and offer customers a pick up and delivery service in a uniquely wrapped van. Hours of operation for this facility is Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-1pm.
