ADVANTAGE RENT A CAR APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF SALES TO LEAD TOUR BUSINESS

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (August 13, 2007). Advantage Rent A Car has appointed Jim Bascom, Director of Sales, Tour. As Advantage expands the tour business and further develops the operations both domestically and internationally, Mr. Bascom will be instrumental in that initiative.

Bascom has had a very successful career in car rental and similar industries with nearly 15 years focused on tour operations. He held positions as Vice President Sales and Marketing, Carefree Vacations, Inc.; Vice President Sales and Marketing, Dollar Rent A Car/Lindo’s Rent A Car; Partner, Specialty Auto Rentals and most recently as Vice President Sales with the Khoury Group developing international account bases for Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
