Below is an overview of how our
Rental Management System works. How to make reservations, view rentals and print
invoices.

Logging in for the first time
|
Once you have received your username and
password, you will be able to login at
advantagerentacar.com/tours.
When you long in for the first time, you
will be presented with this screen:

Your name and the name of
your company will be displayed at the top.

This
is the screen where you will be able to find any reservations you might have
made in the past and print invoices.

To
make a reservation click on "New Reservation". A new window will open with
our standard reservation screen.

DO
NOT enter your client's email address on this screen, otherwise they will
receive a copy of the reservation showing the net rate charges.

You
will also receive an email with the reservation details.

Understanding the reservation

Once
you have made your first reservation, you can return to the Rental Management page.
If you change the drop down in the Rental Status" field to "Open" and hit
"Search", you will now see the reservation you have just made
listed with several items in columns.

The
Maroon and Green dots indicate that the reservation was made through your
company and was referred by you.

Your
confirmation number appears next, this is the number that you will always
have to refer to the rental and should be given to your renter. To view or
make changes to the reservation, simply click on the confirmation number.

If you click on the printer icon, a printer friendly window will open so
that you can print the reservation details.

The
renter's name appears next.

By clicking this icon you will be able to add comments to the reservation,
such as special requests, baby seats, etc.

Flight number, pickup date and time appear next.

By clicking the red X you can cancel the reservation.

This
is followed by the Return date, type of car and rental status. Open means
the vehicle has not been picked up yet. Rented means the vehicle is
currently on rent and closed means the vehicle has been returned. If
cancelled, this will be indicated here as well as if the client is a no show.

Finally the total charge is shown.

Once rented, a green arrow will allow you to extend the rental should the
client wish to keep the car longer.

Click on Reports on the top right of the page.

Select the "Invoices" radio button.

You
have the option to choose between Company Referrals and My
Referrals.

Click on Generate Report
-
You
will be asked if you only want to print new invoices, or if you want
to re-print invoices you might have requested already.

Similarly,
you can print billing statements.
